Funded by the New Zealand Government, the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships Programme offers life changing scholarships to individuals from partner countries to study or train while in New Zealand. The aim of a Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship is to empower problem solvers, change makers, and highly capable individuals to pursue their potential to become leaders in their communities and counties. Recipients will help build prosperity, security, and sustainable growth in their home countries, while fostering a lifetime connection between New Zealand and the leaders of tomorrow. If you earn a Manaaki Scholarship, and are a resident of a Pacific Island country, you have the option of studying at an education provider based in the Pacific. These Manaaki Scholarships cover a variety of different levels of study, including full tertiary scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, vocational short-term training, and many others. All recipients of the scholarship must return to their home country for the period of time associated with the scholarship type upon completion of their study.
