Support services at Toi Ohomai | Study With New Zealand

Marc Edward Calvez De Guzman
Filipino Graduate Diploma student

Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology is where I chose to continue my education, the foundation of my knowledge in New Zealand. It is located in the heart of Rotorua and extends to the whole of Bay of Plenty region. Marc explains what support services are available for international students at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology.

Toi Ohomai is an educational institution full of good people who work hard to help international students build friendships. They also offer advice to ensure they have a great experience in New Zealand and that there is support for their personal problems.

The school looks after their international students with compassion and understanding.

The school looks after their international students with compassion and understanding. They check that where we live is going to be good for us or if there are places which will be better suited. The school's faculties and teachers are also very concerned about the well-being of their students.

Fellow students also look after for each other and check how everyone is doing. In a country, you are not familiar with and away from your family, every international student needs and deserves a service as great as that provided by Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology. On top of these things, you receive a Māori welcome on at your first day of school and are treated as family during your time in New Zealand. At the end of your study, they bid you good-bye with their good luck ritual wishing you all the best in your journey. This gives you a moral lifting boost!
